Authenticity test

The authenticity check is a mandatory activity when changing ownership of road vehicles, and is carried out with technology approved by the National Transport Authority (NKH).

The purpose of the authenticity test is to review and verify the vehicle's "original" condition, identical to the original (factory). The chassis number of each vehicle represents a specific, clearly defined and documented design (color, body, engine, seats, windshield, etc.). To verify this, there are several types of technological and technical identification "tags" in several places on the vehicle, the existence and unchangeability of which verify the original condition.

Since April 1, 2010, mobile authenticity checks have been discontinued pursuant to Government Decree 301/2009, as a result of which customers must visit an authenticity check station if they wish to have the check performed on their vehicle.

Our company currently has an authenticity testing station in Zugló. The authenticity test takes about 40-60 minutes and takes place in a closed workshop. After the test, our company issues a certificate or decision about the test along with proof of the paid service fee.

The result of the vehicle origin inspection can be used only once within 60 days during the traffic administrative procedure!

Whichever testing station you choose, the prices are the same everywhere.
